I have always wanted to do a what's in my bag video since they existed, and was very inspired by seeing risa’s post the other day! So here goes.

I like being overly prepared for situations (yay being neurotic as hell) but there is ONE thing I hate bringing with me. Umbrella. I think the “Oh, people from Seattle don’t use umbrellas” stuff is bs but the idea of carrying around a soaking wet stinky umbrella bothers me. I much prefer to wear raincoats. Anyways:

Each row here corresponds to a level of importance/necessity when it comes to whether I’ll bring stuff with me.

First Row

This is for stuff that has to go with me! Always on my person!

Mask: I double layer my masks(standard surgical mask beneath a flannel mask that I got from Tom Bihn, based in seattle. It’s the V4 design). I find that when I double layer, it’s easier than just wearing the cloth mask on its own (gets really moist + sticks to my mouth), and it’s more secure that way (surgical mask can be loose).

Wallet: Tommy Hilfiger wallet. My mom had actually boycotted the brand for a really long time I think because they were racist (?) but then she got this for me. I’ve had this since I was in 9th grade I think! A very nice wallet, plenty of space for my cards, and it has a clear sleeve where I like to put polaroids :).

Keys: I only have one key, but three keychains (a good ratio). It has: a Unity bottle opener that I got from a career fair (they did not hire me), very handy. A punimelt milk keychain from jessica, and a RamuneSoda (on etsy) D. Gray Man keychain. The D. Gray Man one is double sided, with Allen on one and Mana on the other!

Second Row

This is additional stuff I always bring if I have a bag/purse, and not just my pockets, but otherwise pretty important.

Random Perfume Sample: I always am anxious that I am stinky so I carry this free sample of perfume I got ages ago on me. It’s Bulgari’s Omnia Crystalline, nice and not too overwhelming. I used this a lot after the gym (but I do not go to the gym these days. Though I still bring it in case I am emergency stinky).

Hair Tie: I never really use this one, because I always have my daily one in my pocket or something if I have my hair down, but you can never have too many backups I guess!

Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer: This is in the shade Fig, which is basically MLBB for me. I think it is fine, I wouldn’t say it’s the most moisturizing but I like it because it is slim enough to fit in the pouch I have, the peppermint oil tingling is kinda fun, and the shimmer isn’t garish. But yeah this is last in line of actual lip balm-y products that I would recommend heh.

Nail Clippers: In case my nail breaks...I would rather not break/chew ‘em off. I got these in an airport in Korea ages ago.

Tweezers: These are super old tweezers I stole from my mom. They’re from Revlon. Literally the best tweezers I have ever used and if I lose them I will be so sad. They have a nice heft to them that is great at pulling out difficult hairs. I like these when I have those random thick hairs on my face (of which I have many, and if I find one, it drives me insane until I can remove it)

Safety Pins: Two years ago my pants zipper broke and I had to wait 5 hours until my friend could help fix it. Luckily I was wearing a long jacket that day. That is really all I need to say on this, I think...

Painkillers: Your headache prone friend here...gets headaches...a lot...

Rohto Lycee Eye drops: My eyes are also VERY dry all the time, often to the point where if I blink...I scratch my eye? And it hurts very bad. So here’s some eyedrops, though after I use this up I’ll switch over to ones I got from the eye doctor.

Mirror with...Interesting Design: kevin got me this mirror like 5 years ago, it is nice and compact with an INTERESTING design.

Blue Q Coin Purse: Got this from jessica for secret santa several years ago. I keep all the aforementioned items in this, she is still going strong!

Third Row:

These usually go in the smashbox bag pictured below. I took this with me when I went to work, in my Patricia Nash leather bag my mom got me from Macy’s, and also when I go sleep over at a friend's place.

Lip Balms: I pick one (or none, if I’m lazy) of Glossier Balm Dot Com, Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter, and Dr. Pawpaw Lip Balm. I like ones with a slight tint to them because my lips can look really cool toned and I feel like it makes me look like a corpse sometimes, especially at work under that fluorescent lighting, but I do love a thickkk balm.

Kumba Oil: Backup anti-stink precaution, I have it in oriental musk but I’ll be honest, all of them kinda smell the same.

Nivea Soft Lotion: For my dry, dry hands. I use this at home too, in a bigger tub.

Degree Men’s Antiperspirant: I think men’s deodorant smells better than woman’s. Again, anti-stink measures.

Handwarmer/Phone Charger: I have cold hand syndrome so this is pretty key in the winter! Three different heat settings and can also be used as a phone charger though I do not know how good it is in that regard. I got it on Amazon, can’t find the exact one I got (i think maybe kevin got it for me), but there are many others like it.

Not Pictured:

Tissues, Pads, Phone Charging cable, makeup if I’m wearing any that day, gum (5, Spearmint), rolled up plastic bags.

Here is other stuff I bring with me, like the smashbox pouch I mentioned (with a fuzzy keychain I got from Claire’s when I was 9), as well as the Trader Joe’s Grapefruit & Lemon Hand Sanitizer Spray, my headphones (Symphonized NRG 3.0 Wood), and iPad + Apple pencil.

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed (puts my bags back in my bags back in my bags)
